De LLoret de Mar a Portbou, el catálogo de vivencias contiene propuestas tan esenciales como los parques naturales del Cap de Creus, con el monasterio de Sant Pere de Rodes y la villa de Cadaqués, el de Aiguamolls de l’Empordà y el de Illes Medes, o parajes tan singulares como la bahía de Roses, las ruinas de Empúries, las calas de Begur, Palafrugell y el faro de Sant Sebastià, los jardines de Cap Roig, la Vila Vella o casco antiguo de Tossa de Mar, o los jardines botánicos de Santa Clotilde, Pinya de Rosa y Marimurtra, en Lloret de Mar y Blanes. Todo ello sin olvidarnos de centros comerciales y de ocio como Roses, L’Escala, L’Estartit, Palamós, Platja d’Aro, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Lloret de Mar.
El camino nos llevará a descubrir lugares como Peralada –castillo y casino–, Figueres, con el museo del universal Salvador Dalí, y núcleos medievales como Pals, Peratallada, Púbol, la propuesta artesanal de la cerámica de La Bisbal, los parajes del Pla de l’Estany con su capital, Banyoles, o la ciudad de Girona, depositaria de la catedral y el barrio judío, de importancia reconocida internacionalmente. Además de todo esto, uno de los atributos que hoy podemos lucir con más orgullo es la calidad de nuestras playas y aguas litorales, resultado de un importante esfuerzo de control y depuración que ha merecido reiteradamente el reconocimiento de calidad por parte de la Fundación Europea para la Educación Ambiental, manifestado a través de la concesión de las numerosas banderas azules que ondean en nuestro litoral.
Por otra parte, han obtenido el certificado «Q» de calidad turística otorgado por el ICTE las playas de Lloret de Mar, todas ellas, al lado del Camping Santa Elena Ciutat en LLoret de Mar Costa Brava.
The Costa Brava
Like a canvas where nature has intended to combine with exquisite delicacy the intense green of the pine groves, the massive steadfastness of the rocks, the softness of the golden sands and the deep, dazzling blue of the sea – that is the Costa Brava.
From LLoret de Mar to Portbou, the list of things to do includes the Cap de Creus Natural Park, with the monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes and the village of Cadaqués, the marshes of the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park and the Medes Islands Marine Reserve, and unique settings such as Roses bay, the ruins of Empúries, the coves of Begur and Palafrugell, Sant Sebastià lighthouse, Cap Roig gardens, the Old Town of Tossa de Mar and the Santa Clotilde, Pinya de Rosa and Marimurtra botanical gardens, between Lloret de Mar and Blanes.
Do not forget to visit the shopping and leisure centres at Roses, L’Escala, L’Estartit, Palamós, Platja d’Aro, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Lloret de Mar.
Our route will lead us to discover places such as Peralada – with its castle and casino –, Figueres, with its museum devoted to the universal artist Salvador Dalí, medieval villages such as Pals, Peratallada and Púbol, the pottery shops at La Bisbal, the scenery of the Pla de l’Estany county with its capital Banyoles, and the city of Girona, with its cathedral and internationally famous Jewish Quarter.
And on top of all this, one of the features we can display with greatest pride is the quality of our beaches and coastal waters, the result of considerable work put into quality monitoring and water treatment which has over and over again been accoladed for its quality by the European Environmental Education Foundation, as seen from the many blue flags which flutter in the breeze along our coastline.
In addition, the beach of Lloret de Mar have obtained the “Q” certificate of tourism quality awarded by the ICTE, all of them, next to the Camping Santa Elena Ciutat in Lloret de Mar Costa Brava.
